Hi, I’m Julie, the owner and creative director
behind Julie Jagt Photography.
As a light-filled photographer with a classic and timeless style, valuing genuine human connection is my top priority. Being quick on my feet, I am able to effortlessly photograph clients while making them feel both comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Creating natural images with an editorial flair and capturing you as you are is my specialty – no overly posed mannequins here!
On a wedding day, there is a lot that can happen. Having the unique ability to read the room allows me to quickly access any situation and find solutions to each problem; all the while remaining a calming presence in what can otherwise be a stressful situation.
Being creatively inclined from an early age, it’s no wonder I chose art as a career. I am constantly being inspired by interesting architecture, novels, music, paintings and cats (ok, maybe not the last one, but you know what I mean). Some of my favourite things include Elton John, iced coffees, books, true crime podcasts and happy hour with friends. I am a homebody 99% of the time, but I am always dreaming of my next adventure.
